KEITH SWAPS THE GBS ZERO FOR A MINI COOPER S AT BLYTON PARK…

Keith was not with us at Stoneleigh Kit Car Show last Sunday as he was invited to Blyton Park to drive one of his previous historic rally cars at the kind invitation of its new owner Mr Paul Davenport of Plastics4Performance. The car is a 1971 Mini Cooper S 1293cc 8 port cylinder head producing 100bhp at the wheels, it took Keith 2 laps of the Blyton Park track to be back up to competition speed. The car drove faultlessly and Paul was amazed at how the car could be driven sideways and using left foot braking technique, it doesn’t appear that Keith has not lost his speed as many of you will know from the Zero test drives.

If you want to have a ride out on the track with Keith and the GBS team in the GBS Zero’s then come and join us at Cadwell Park on Thursday 12th June and Donington Park Thursday 31st July. For more details please visit our events page.

You can now follow GBS on Google + as well as Facebook and Twitter @GBSCars or to receive monthly emails from GBS, please join our mailing list here.
