STUDENTS ENJOY A TOUR OF GBS….

Earlier this week we welcomed Students and Tutors from St David’s College in Llandudno North Wales to the GBS Factory. We were contacted by the College several months ago as they were interested in the GBS Zero Mazda kit as a project for their students, several months past then we got a call a few weeks ago to say that they got the go ahead for the project and the order was placed for a full GBS Zero Mazda Kit. Their Zero Mazda chassis is currently sat in our collection bay as all the parts are currently being picked to complete the full Mazda kit.

On Wednesday the Students and Tutors enjoyed a tour of our full facilities which included seeing the Shock Absorbers being assembled and tested, the manufacturing of our components in our CNC Machines, the GBS Design room where they got to see how we design components and how the software enables us to manufacture them, the workshop that currently has various GBS Zero sports cars in at different build stages and different specs, the Kit Spares Shop where they were shown all the components that they will be receiving in their kit. Then finishing with a group photo of them all around their GBS Zero Mazda Chassis, that we will soon be delivering to them.

We have now supplied a large number of educational facilities from Schools, Colleges to Universities all over the world. It’s a great opportunity for the students to gain practical experience and develop their knowledge and understanding of engineering in a practical application. As well as being an exciting and captivating project for everyone involved, it maintains interest and enthusiasm all the way through with a real sense of achievement as each stage is completed with the end result not only being an enjoyable sports car but a worthwhile asset. We welcome any enquiry you may have about the Zero kit build and as a company we are willing to help and assist you through your build as the next generation of car builders are the future to the British motor industry.
Please take a look at our Great British Sports Cars Educational Brochure for more details of what we can offer.
