Yesterday (Sunday 5th October) we arranged a run out in the GBS Zero’s, this was the first time we have done a run out and it was a great success with 14 Stunning GBS Zero’s taking over the roads.

We all met at the GBS Factory for tea & biscuits at 10.30am before departing at around 11.30am with Laurence (Who works in the GBS Workshop) leading the way in his GBS Zero with Will (who works in the Kit Spares department). Richard & Laurence went out in the Zero’s one night last week to plan the best roads for the route as we wanted the route to be fun, safe and most of all enjoyable for everyone. The route that we planned covered around 80 miles of some great roads through Southwell, Newark, Bottesford, and then great country roads around the Vale of Belvoir. We then all stopped at the Manner Arms in Knipton which was about half way through the route for some photographs and drinks. Then it was back on the road for the final miles going through more country roads in the Vale of Belvoir through to Corby Glen, Waltham on the Wolds then making our way back to the Plough Inn at Cropwell Butler where a roast dinner was ready to be served to everyone.

It was great to see so many Zero’s out on the road together, they all looked stunning and certainly attracted a lot attention throughout the day, all the Zero’s performed well and everyone enjoyed the day. We would like to thank everyone that joined us and we look forward to planning another run out for next year.

These are just a few of the photographs from the day, we took plenty of photos during the run and will be sharing more with you all later this week on our GBS Facebook page.

Other news GBS Factory…..Last week a stunning factory built GBS Zero GT was collected from the GBS factory by its new owner Donald Thompson, who joined us on the run yesterday in it, we will be sharing more details and photographs on that Zero later in the week with you. Also on Friday Bernd our GBS German dealer came over with his son Daniel and friend Christian, they then all enjoyed a day at Blyton Park in our Zero Race demonstrator, they had a great day even if it was very wet in the morning, and had to change the slicks to wet tyres! They also joined us all for tea and biscuits at the GBS Factory before we left for the run out, then made their way to catch the Ferry back to Germany.
