GBS CUSTOMERS DOING WELL IN THEIR GBS ZERO’S…

A few weeks ago we featured Brothers Nick & Andy Biddle who are busy  enjoying their GBS Zero Race in the NEW Fueltopia Formula G Race series.  They were at The Coventry Motofest  that took place on 4th & 5th June with their Zero Race, they were invited down to the Coventry Motofest to help publicise the new Fueltopia Formula G Race series.

Shortly after the event we received an email from the brothers saying that the show was a massive success… “With the weather on our side they have estimated around 120,000 people attended over the weekend. With the Pit area being fully open to the public we had masses of people come look, discuss and even sit in the car (at one point we had a que ).  Throughout both days I don’t think the amount of people watching ever dropped below at least 100 or so.”

With the warm weather and the style of driving (no air flow through the engine) the Car behaved perfectly, with some other cars not surviving the weekend!

Most weekends they are out enjoying their Zero Race “The Next Formula G round at Santa pod is on 21st of August, it’s on the same weekend as the Barrell Sprint which we run as well”.

Formula G is £65 for each round (santa pod charge £10 to get in so £75 in total) you get all morning to que up and practice the course. After lunch you get 5 qualifying runs and you are then placed into knockout rounds depending where you qualify. Trophies and champagne at the end

The Series is open to anyone and any car as long as you have a valid Driving licence, a helmet and if the car is open top some kind of Roll hoop for safety you are good to go.  Because of the weight of the GBS Zero Nick Said “We are finding we are not burning out tyres like some of the other guys, a set of rear tyres would easily last you a season”.

Also  Well done to GBS Customer Stuart Harrison who was the overall WINNER at Abington Carnival Autosolo 2016 in his GBS Zero GT. Father and Son Stuart and Ian take part in the Autosolo championship which goes all across the country and they are always doing well coming away often with 1st and 2nd place finishes beating Caterham’s and Westfield’s in their class.
