GREAT TIME IN THE ZERO’S ON THE RUN OUT…

On Sunday we organised the first GBS Zero Run Out of 2016, the GBS Zero Ford demonstrator was the lead car of 10 GBS Zero’s that joined us.
The route was around 85 miles from start to finish and covered some great country roads and stunning locations. The route was planned by Laurence who many for you know who works in the GBS Workshop started at Oakham where we all met at 9.30am ready to hit the road at 10.15am. All 11 GBS Zero’s looked stunning out on the roads together and attracted a lot of attention. Half way through the route we stopped at The Bulls Head Pub in Clipston for a short break and to re group. Then it was back on the road for the final miles finishing at the final location at around 1.30pm which was The British Motor Museum at Gaydon where an area was reserved for the GBS Zero’s to park the outside the museum for photographs. Then we all enjoyed a lunch in the Cafe at the Museum and to finish of the day we had a visit around the British Motor Museum, where there is a collection of stunning cars.
The GBS Zero demonstrator covered over 150 miles in total and also had a new component on it that we are currently testing and are pleased to say that this performed well and we were pleased with results…. We will share more on this later with you all.
We would just like to thank everyone that joined us, we hope that you all enjoyed it. We put a lot of effort into organising these events and appreciate the support for you all, unfortunately Laurence was unable to join us on the actual day, but we would like to thank him for planning another excellent route for us all to enjoy. Thank you also to Simon Carr at The British Motor Museum for making us welcome and arranging for the GBS Zero’s to be exhibited in front of the Museum.

We did have a lot interest from other sports cars wanting to join us on the Run Out, but we decided that it was just going to be for you GBS Zero owners. However we are planning another Cars & Coffee event that will incorporate a Run Out that everyone in any sports car will be welcome on and able to join us. (Date & location will be announced soon)

This weekend we will be at County Wheels Show at Woodhall Spa with the GBS Zero’s and a range of parts & spares. For more details on this event please visit our events page.
